“Bota is likely on the verge of a new world war”, Medvedev said during a conference in Moscow.
Medvedev is currently deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council, which is a very powerful institution in this country.
He said such a fight is not inevitable, but risks from nuclear confrontation are growing and are more serious than concerns related to climate change.
