Public institutions do not recognise ombudsman

In 4 ombudsman reports, for three murders that the victims had previously reported domestic violence, and 11-year-old violation, Kosovo Police have received the most recommendations, as a result of negligence and failure during their treatment.

To improve access to these cases, and to render an account to failed officials, the Ombudsman has issued recommendations for the Kosovo Prosecutorial and Judicial Council.

From the Kosovo police, no response has been given until the Judiciary and Prosecutorial Council have said every time the recommendations of this institution are taken into account.

Even the KKP has said the latest report for 11 years is being addressed.
