Protest Wednesday for the expulsion of Bekim Bjeta, professor at UPP

The Student Religious Movement, through a post on Facebook page, has indicated that on Wednesday they will protest near the Faculty of Philology for the expulsion of Professor Bekim Bata, who is accused of violence and blackmail against a University of Pristina student. The announcement of this movement is said to have continued to [...]
The announcement of this movement reportedly has continued to threaten students of the Philological Faculty with life after making the case public.
“Day, through the media we were reported that Professor Bekim Bata, already accused of violence and blackmailing an UPP student, has continued to threaten Philological faculty students with life after publicising the case. Professor Bata engaged in the English Language Department, near the Faculty of Philology at the UP, continues to teach there, despite reports and evidence that the same has practiced systematic violence in various forms against students. In reporting against him, there is also suspicion of abuse of official duty and sexual crimes with student”, the report says.
On the other hand, the post expresses concern about Bekim Bata's immediate disapproval of the UPA.
We, UP students and students and citizens of this country, are concerned with the immediate non-execution of Bata by UP, which is allowing him to commit other criminal acts. We, on Wednesday, oppose this situation and organise ourselves in solidarity with students at the Philological Faculty and ask the University of Pristina management to dismiss it immediately from the official position of associate professor Bekim Bata. In addition to the request for his expulsion, we also request his immediate arrest and the launch of the investigation into threats to students”, the announcement said.
On the other hand, it is known that the Wednesday protest is expected to take place first by 11:00.
We can't just sit back while students and students are feeling insecure right in spaces where they/a should be free/a. We can't tolerate further standardization and institutionalisation of violence. So we invite all citizens and students to protest. Together, against violence at the UP. The protest begins at 11 o'clock, at the Faculty of Philology, to continue at the UPA reactor”, says further in the announcement.
