The European Parliament is expected to vote today on the visa liberalisation decision for Kosovo citizens, with what procedures on the issue come to an end.
While tomorrow, April 19th, the legal act for visa liberalisation will be signed, while the only step that must be taken after that is to publish the decision in the EU Official Journal and enter into force.
The EU Council of Ministers has approved visa liberalisation for Kosovo with a simple majority last month. It is now clear that the implementation of the decision will not be postponed further than January 1st of 2024.

According to the graph, which contains 13 degrees, ten of them have been passed, while after today's vote, two steps to visa liberalisation for Kosovo citizens are needed.
