Only the President is silent about the Valon Syla attack.

President Vjosa Osmani never said a word about journalist Valon Syla, who was followed last night and physically attacked by three people. The serious attack on journalist Valon Syla has prompted the response of the Kosovo Journalists' Association, international journalists' organisations and foreign missions in Kosovo. At the first hour of reporting on the attack, Chief Parliamentary Glauk Konjufca has reacted.
“Sulmi to journalist Valon Syla is a serious violation of press freedom and human rights, and can never be tolerated in a democratic society”, the Conjufca script said. Reaction has also taken place by Prime Minister Kurti and his ministers, who have demanded that the attackers be brought to justice.
But up to these hours, there's been a lack of reaction from the chief of state, which since she's in the state's chief office has not shown much sensitivity when journalists were attacked -- neither when her husband or any official at the presidency did it.
The largest journalists' organisation in Europe, The EFJ, asked the heads of state not to hold their peace against the physical attack taken on journalist Syla about midnight. At noon today, Prime Minister Albin Kurti opened the Government meeting, saying the attack on the Eye is thetolerable and unacceptable “ ”.
Allow me first to say that last night's attack on journalist and opinionist Valon Syla is unacceptable and unacceptable. Disagreements in obedience and attitudes cannot and should not be a cause for physical assault. In a democratic society that we present and promote proudly, we should never allow fear of free speech to weigh more than freedom of speech”, Kurti said, among other things.
Last night's attack has sparked numerous reactions from the journalists' community and the public sphere in general.
The journalist running the Metro Journal was notified just a few minutes ago with a Facebook note. He believes the attack on him has come after his writings for the Islamic Community of Kosovo and posts for the Hoja from Prizren, Mazlam Mazlam, who was given a luxury car.
I'm Valon Syla and I'm libertarian with conviction. Me and Kosovars like me don't need peace, without freedom”, are said among other things in a syla text, posted on his Facebook account.
Meanwhile, pressure has increased on President Osmani, who has not reacted even when its Chief of Staff, Blerim Vela, has repeatedly attacked the media. Her husband, Princeton Sadriu, is also known for his lynching language to the media and journalists.
