Republika President Bajram Begaj decreed the appointment of Vlora Hyseni as head of the State Intelligence Service.
On March 17th, Prime Minister Edi Rama went to President Begaj's office to propose Mrs. Hyseni to the head of this dictatorship, confident that prominent preparation, years-made experience and respect that Mrs. Hyseni enjoys in the international intelligence community, constitutes a complete guarantee for further reforming the Albanian intelligence service.
In February 2019, Vlora Hyseni was appointed deputy director of the Kosovo Intelligence Agency. After several months, Prime Minister Albin Kurti and President Vjosa Osmani were dismissed from all AKI functions. In 2021 she was appointed as adviser to Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama.
Hyseni will replace Heridon Bendon, who resigned December 2022.
