“The failure to pay electricity bills has encouraged such illegal activities. For this Serbia blocks the energy guide's implementation. We have fulfilled our vows. It's time for the other side to do the same”, she wrote on Twitter.

Earlier in the day, Interior Affairs Minister Jedal Svecla had confirmed the action of the country's authorities in the Serb-inhabited north, but had not provided more details.
In 2022, when Kosovo faced an energy crisis, the Government of Kosovo banned the thousands of cryptova peaces, a process that spends too much electricity.
Even earlier, police officials had conducted similar shares in different regions of Kosovo, confiscating equipment for cryptovaluta.
The four municipalities in northern Kosovo -- inhabited by Serb majority -- northern Mitrovica, Zvecan, Zubin Potok and Leposaviq since the end of the war -- are not paying for spent energy.
By 2017, citizens from other parts of Kosovo had paid the current in the north. During this period of time, the bills of citizens in other Kosovo municipalities have been at 3.5 percent more expensive.
But the Constitutional Court, and then that of Appeals, said such a practice of paying for the flow spent in the north was illegal. This ruling was confirmed on April 13th of this year also by the Supreme Court of Kosovo.
The Supremei found that consumers could seek to compensate for the current paid for the north.
The issue of electricity in the north, Kosovo and Serbia have also discussed within the dialogue, mediated by the European Union. In 2013 the parties reached the energy deal, which has not been implemented. Because of its failure, in 2022, Pristina and Belgrade agreed on the Guide for Implementation of the Energy Agreement.
Through the guide, the issue of electricity supply and destiny for the four municipalities in northern Kosovo, inhabited by the Serb majority.
The Serbian company Elektrosever will be taken in for supply and luck of the north, but the EU has confirmed last year that there are delays in the implementation of the guide.
