The arrests of the two Albanians were conducted on February 29th in Egremont. During physical control on cannabis farms, police found and seized 185 plants.
During the trial hearing, Salimusaj's lawyer said the defendant went to Britain illegally in 2018 and owed 20,000 pounds.
He was working to pay off the demination of his British ticket. He cultivated cannabis to pay off his debt. It was not intended to deal with criminal organizations. Prior to that, he was a construction worker, but the profits were low and could not pay off debt”, his defence attorney stated.
The city court sentenced the two Albanians to 18 months in prison and to expulsion after the payment of their obligations.
