Opposition unhappy with Kurti Government wants country to go to elections

The government Kurti started work with promises of deep reforms, with the aim of fighting corruption and boosting transparency in governance of the country. However, when more than half of the mandate has passed, current power is facing constant criticism from opposition parties.

In many opposition arguments, the executive under Prime Minister Kurti's leadership remains inefficient and unable to solve the problems that citizens are facing. In some recent statements, the opposition has called for new elections in Kosovo, claiming Kurti's governance is not functioning properly.

Alliance for the Future of Kosovo MP, Pal Lekaj has said the Kurti Government has shown total disabilities, and according to him this government has turned out to be a big fraud.

Lekaj in one proposal has said that political, economic and degrading stagnation in any other social realm is the signal that this incompetent government should come to an end.

This government turns out to be the biggest fraud. Besides showing total disabilities, she has lost her moral cause in the fight against corruption, not to talk about total deformities of political and diplomatic attitudes. There is neither the vow nor the great citizen faith that has mandated this government. Political, economic, degradation in any other social sphere is a signal that this incompetent andcommunicable government must come to an end. Of the ranks of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, MP Ariana Musliu-Sashi had stated in an interview that Prime Minister Albin Kurti would do well to return the mandate to citizens and according to him facing citizens he has deceived.

“Prime Minister Kurti would do well to return the mandate to citizens and face his voters, who have deceived them. However, I do not expect such a thing to happen, Albin Kurti has already testified that all lies and deceptions he has done years only to come to power. She has said Kurt couldn't risk his chair and black jeeps to declare elections.

Democratic League of Kosovo MP Driton Selmanaj has said his party is ready for new elections.

Selmanaj has expressed his doubts in relation to Kurti's political orientation after the Ohrid agreement.

It has since indicated that anyone other than this political class will be more responsible in government.

“The LDK has shown in the past that it is responsible in important processes for the country does not experiment, entered mazes with many unknowns that could bring certain situations. Despite statements by the opposition, analyst Halil Matoshi in a proposal for National Gazette has said elections are not a solution now, and according to him are impossible.
