Nagip Arifi: Without stability in the Valley, there can be no between Kosovo and Serbia

Bujanoc Mayor Nagip Arifi said that American Ambassador to Serbia Christopher Hill's visit to the Presevo Valley was delayed. He added that the issue of Albanians in the Valley was not part of talks between Albin Kurti and Aleksandar Vucinqi in Ohrid. “We also requested some of our requests that are essential for Albanians [...]
“We also requested some of our demands that are essential for Albanians in the Presevo Valley. We asked him questions and asked for support to stop the Albanians from applying to Serbia's civilian condition. The second and much more important issue, because so far we have had problems about the diplomas of young Albanians at Kosovo universities and the failure to lock Albanians in Serbia's state organs and the main one and what the Ohrid” agreement is, he told “A BC News”
Asked whether the ambassador wants to speak with Vuciqi about Albanians in the Presevo Valley, he said:
The next “week will have a meeting with Vuciqi and Serbia's prime minister, and these concerns she has heard from Albanian representatives will be conveyed and will announce to me in an official hope how the talks have turned out and what obligations Vuciqi has made. What he has said at the March 27th meeting that the Ohrid Agreement must certainly be implemented and that any non-resistant state will be sanctioned, but also those who influence the failure to implement that” agreement.
Arifi also added that at meetings with representatives of Kosovo's government, not only of Kurti's, but also previous governments, they have expressed the concerns of Albanians in the Valley. He said that without political stabilisation of the Valley there can be no stability between Kosovo and Serbia.
At every meeting we have had with the Kosovo government, we have always raised Albanian concerns. We have requested that the Albanian issue be the subject of talks in Brussels or elsewhere. We've been promised, but this agreement happened and has not been talked about Albanians in the Presevo Valley. But by listening attentively to Hill's suggestions as well as by American politics, which is peacekeeping, I am convinced that the U.S.A. will also have the issue of the Presevo Valley gradually in its agenda. Without the political and economic stabilisation of the valley, there will be no stability between Kosovo and Serbia”, Arifi concluded.
