Finance, Labour and Transfers Minister Iron Murati has said that imported prices for oil and wheat have dropped, while the blame for expensive prices has been blamed on the LDK. According to him, citizens are continuing to pay more dearly because the Democratic League of Kosovo has submitted the Law for the Taban Awards to the Constitutional Court.

The price of the supply from import for food oil has dropped to 1.05 euros. The price of supply from import to wheat has dropped to 0.24 euros/kg. The law on ceiling prices, the LDK sent it to the Constitutional Court. So citizens continue to pay more than they should for oil, flour and bread”, the Murati wrote on Facebook.

We remember that the Government of Kosovo has sent the draft law on ceiling prices to the country, which meant setting several prices from the state for essential products later passed to the Assembly, but the LDK, as well as other opposition parties, had said that the law contradicts the Constitution of Kosovo.
