Kosovo municipal heads have asked Prime Minister Albin Kurti for a meeting to debate topics and issues currently distract the municipalities of the Republic of Kosovo. The request was made by AKK Chairman Agim Aliu.
The AKK also proposed topics they would discuss. At the top of the list is the new Law on Property Tax and the possibility of pardoning 100 euros of taxes.
The proposed “The themes at our joint meeting could be: 1. Property tax, new property tax and the possibility of a 100-euro pardon by law, 2. Procedures for Public Service; 3. Self - income and the budget for municipalities; 4. Property administered by the Kosovo Privatisation Agency and the Forest Agency, which may be in the interest of municipalities; 5. The Fourth Grant for the Communists, Procedure of the Law on Local Finance”, says the announcement.

To address the topics, concerns, needs and requirements of Kosovo municipalities, the mayors of the municipalities seek meeting with the Government of Kosovo.
The subjects proposed at our meeting would be:
- Property tax ʹthe new property tax law as well as the possibility of pardoning 100 euros by law;
- The recruiting procedures in public service;
- Self-inflows and budgets for municipalities;
- Property administered by the Kosovo Privatisation Agency and the Forest Agency, which may be in the interest of municipalities;
- The Fourth Grant for the Communists, Procedure of the Law on Local Finance.
That requirement, on behalf of the Kosovo Association Board of Commons, Mr. AKK Chairman. Agim Aliu has been addressed to Kosovo Prime Minister. Albin Kurti, where he has requested a meeting between the Government of Kosovo and the mayors of the municipalities to debate the topics and issues currently distract the municipalities of the Republic of Kosovo.
