Muja: We should protect Nagip Krasniqi more

Moja even considered that at the moment Kosovo was at its peak in terms of electricity production, Krasniqi's arrest took place.

“The way I see the arrest of Nagip Krasniqi, we would have to protect him even more. I was part of the Stability Commission for Energy and I know what Chief Krasniqi has faced. Initially, a false evaporator has been established, which has dropped the production level in Kosovo A and B. The year 2022 has been Kosovo's peak in terms of energy production, increased new capacities, reduced consumption. Then, at this point came the director's unexpected arrest. In the meantime, I have expected further steps to be taken. In the last 10 years, there has been an energy mafia which has largely been linked to former ruling parties, AAK, LDK PDK. They have been linked to Serbian firms since the import of electricity, to the implementation of contracts at KEK. And what has changed in the past two years in Kosovo has not been imported by any cent from Serbia, and these firms that have been linked to the parties that have governed Kosovo earlier”, Moja said on the “debate site” in Tv1.

Similarly, Muja said the campaign against director Krasniqi has been organised for various interests.

“Nagip Krasniqi has begun to make some quick decisions, and one of them is that Serbia's most importable electricity system is no longer costing millions of contracts. When they lost the market, interest was then affected and a campaign was launched against KEK director Nagip Krasniqi”, Muja stressed.

We remember that last week, KEK chief chief Nagip Krasniqi has been arrested by Kosovo Police.

He is accused of criminal acts: Misuse of official position or authority, exercise of influence and conflict of interest.
