Minister Svechla reacts after arrest of car burns in the north

” Anyone who as an individual or as part of the criminal groups instructed by Belgrade has committed any kind of criminal act aimed at destabilizing our country will be identified and brought to justice”, Svechla said.

The burning of cars of our citizens in the north and orchestrated by Belgrade in order to cause fear in other citizens is certainly a serious criminal act. As we have said, how many times such acts have occurred, relevant police units have been engaged in identifying criminals who committed such acts.

One of them has been arrested today and who, apart from being involved in burning cars in the north, as an active part of the criminal structure of the so-called “Civil Protection”, had earlier attacked the Kosovo Police by gun, wounding two of its officials. Security organs also have evidence of its involvement in attacks on the republic's critical infrastructure.

In this sense, the Serb citizen arrested today is charged with “taking or organising the organised criminal group”, “attempted revenge”, “Cause of total risk” and “Attack the official person while performing official task”.

Anyone who as an individual or as part of the criminal groups instructed by Belgrade has committed any kind of criminal act aimed at destabilizing our country will be identified and brought to justice.
