Migration emptys Kosovo schools

Similar situation is also in primary school “Shaban Idrizi”, same city. The principal of this school, Saranda Ademi, stressed that migration trends are on the rise, and during the last two years alone, 25 students have migrated from this school.

Official statistics, meanwhile, talk of reducing the number of students in schools at the country level due to the departure of thousands of citizens outside Kosovo. It is estimated that over 90 Kosovo citizens have left in only the last two years.
