Next meeting Kurti-Vucciq is expected to take place on 22 April in Brussels

The trilateral meeting has ended between Kosovo's chief negotiator, Besnik Bislimi and Serbia's Petar Petkov, with the European Union's special minister for dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak. After this meeting, Bislimi has said the parties have agreed to the next summit at the top level to take place 22 April.
However, this is not as safe as there are indicators that Serbia's president is not willing or unable to come to this date, so an alternative date” remains to be considered, Bislimi said.
Meanwhile, at this next meeting, according to Petkov, the text of the declaration on missing persons will be formally adopted, for which he said the parties have agreed to Brussels.
I would just add that we have had special care for all the terms and that we have not accepted the term mentioned at the international convention for violent extinction, because we have taken care not to risk Serbia's interests”, Petkov said.
Lajcak had also met earlier with senior US State Department Adviser Derek Chollet.
In a tweet, Chollet has said that dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia has been discussed during the meeting.
Besides, he cited US commitment to supporting the Western Balkans for integration into the European Union.
“U enjoyed speaking with EU Special Representative Miroslav Lajcak for our strong support for the EU-led dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, and the shared commitment to supporting the Western Balkans' path towards EU integration”, Chollet wrote.
The Bislimi-Petkovic meeting is the first after the meeting in Ohrid, at which Kurti and Vuciq have reached compliance with implementing the agreement on normalising relations.
