Lutfi Haziri: Government “Kurti”, government of destabilisation and crisis source

The northern Mitrovica mayorial elections Leposaviqi, Zubin Potok and Zvecan were once announced on December 18th, but after tensions they were postponed for 23 April.

Recent preparations from the CEC are already under way for these elections.

But the situation in northern Mitrovica continues to be tense.

On days as the election date for four Serb municipalities in the north approaches, 8 cars of local Serbs registered with RKS license plates have been burned.

Haziri: Instead of free elections, new crisis in the north

 For elections in the north, LDK deputy chairman Lutfi Haziri has spoken.

Haziri told Front Online that a new crisis will begin from these elections.

He says the government Kurtiʹ is unable to stabilise the situation in the north.

This government is unable to stabilise the situation not only in the north, but of course it is seeing that the inability is evident throughout the country. What might have been called the ability of this government is destabilisation and the source of crises. Now I've been assigned the large number of crises. Instead of free elections, for local power in the four municipalities, there will certainly be a new crisis”, Haziri said.

Haziri also spoke of yesterday's meeting of Petkov and Bislim in Brussels.

He said that at the meeting he believes the northern issue has been addressed, as according to him, the situation there relates to the agreement.

The “at the Brussels meeting has been the issue of implementing the Ohrid Agreement and, of course, will be talked about normalisation of the north because this agreement itself essentially has the normalisation of northern Kosovo”, Haziri stressed.

Tuesday's meeting between Bislim and Petkovic concluded with an agreement on the text of the declaration of people not found.

After the meeting, the parties have said that this text will be formally adopted at the next meeting between Kurti and Vucinqi.

Regarding the issue of the missing, LDK deputy chairman Lutfi Haziri has spoken.

Haziri says Serbia seems to have changed the composition of the text for those found.

“Sic looks like Serbia has managed to change the composition of Kosovo's text under the undiscovered, it is imposed that close to 600 persons of the Serb community and other minorities give Serbia information”, Haziri tells the Online Front.

After the end of the Kosovo war in 1999, there were 6 thousand and 500 missing persons.

Most of them were found, as a result of exhumations at mass cemeterys in Kosovo and Serbia.
