AAK Parliamentary Group chief Besnik Tahiri has said Serbia's threats to elections in the country's north are destabilising goals. After the Kosovo Parliament's Headship Meeting, Tahiri called on the country's government to be cautious, because according to him, Serbia cannot set Kosovo conditions for holding elections in four northern municipalities.
“In the Chiefs meeting on two issues that we as the Parliamentary Group addressed. The first concerns the problem of self-inflowing to municipalities. What I stressed in office is that the AAK will not vote on any international agreement, will not participate in any law process unless this issue is clarified. It is unfair and unintelligible that when we passed the Budget Law, in the article proposed by the LDK respectively, we have had a purpose, and it has been that personal revenues can be exploited by municipalities. And there is no logic that someone who pays property tax in the village of Bradash, that money is returned to the Ministry of Finance, then be distributed conditionally to the village of Gramachel”, he said.
Tahiri also had another requirement for the Government of Kosovo.
This government has exposed the public sector to the wage law, now it wants to leave the private sector behind. The minimum wage continues to be 170 euros. So this government is not even planning it. The AAK's request is that urgently bring the draft law on the minimum wage” to the assembly, he stressed.
