License of teachers, Jasharaj: There will be no written test for their knowledge

The chairman of the United Trade Union of Education, Science, Culture of the Republic of Kosovo, Nundman Jasharaj, has said they still do not have any information from the Ministry of Education on the package of legislative changes in which the license of teachers is provided. Jasharaj has said the Ministry of Education should add inspectors to schools, which [...]
Jasharaj has said that the Ministry of Education should add inspectors to schools to look closer to the learning process, but that the teachers oppose taking written tests.
We don't have any official information, but in the opinion, there's a stir up in the first two issues of assessment and knowledge testing. I think there are two separate issues. The SBASK, even in past years, when it was mentioned by anyone who was a written test of the knowledge of Kosovo teachers, we have reacted reasonably because we consider it to be a degradation for their achievements and all the studies they've done and all the exams they've given, and it would be a degradation for the education faculty itself that has done”, it has been declared.
The head of the SBASK has added that the Department of Inspectors should be strengthened in August.
We have been insisting on meetings with August to strengthen the Department of Inspectors, that they go to classes and closely see educational work and help them get rid of any shortcomings they have. We engage in it and we're against having a written test on teaching skills is about the teachers who are in the process, and they're going to have their work license backed up”, he got potential.
Jasharaj stressed that the instruction envisions that there are advancements in the education system, and that advanced and permanent licenses are mentioned.
“MANT and inspectors will determine the criteria that then teachers voluntarily will apply to get a new degree. Opinion must understand that for teachers who are in the process of licensing that there will be no writing tests, we are waiting to see what criteria to present”, he said.
MA SHTI has earlier announced that it is preparing a package of legislative changes that affect the quality of education, respectively, teaching and teaching.
“Within this package is also draf i - UA for teaching. The working group has drafted the draft for this instruction and will soon begin wide discussion with the teaching of this legal package... This UA draft envisions 3 levels of licenses ( there is a career license, advanced license and permanent license). The transition from one license to another is realised through the assessment of the internal and external performance and the assessment expected to be organised by August. If the teacher moves from a career license to an advanced license, there is another addition to wages. These levels of licenses apply only to pre-university education. Implementation of these license levels will begin after finalising the constitutional framework”, it had announced August a few days ago.
