Law signing ceremony launched for Kosovo visa liberalisation in Strasbourg

Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi, European Parliament Speaker Roberta Metsola, Swedish EU Minister representing the presidency of the EU Council, Jessica Roswall, writes Express.
Also invited are LIBE Chairman Juan Fernando López Aguilar and Kosovo visa rapporteur Eurodeput Thijs Reuten.
The latter is shortly expected to hold a press conference.
Yesterday's European Parliament, since there were objections, has approved visa liberalisation for Kosovo without a vote.
Under the agreed decision of EU institutions, Kosovo citizens will be able to move without visas to the Schengen area on January 1st, 2024.
