The EU's emissary for Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak, has been firmly expressed on the issue of opening Ibër Bridge. He said it's not time to do that.

Lajcak has said that at the Delphi Forum in Greece, where Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti is also part of.

The European Emissary has called the transition from crisis to other discussions on license plates, electricity and land, calling for the Kosovo and Serbian parties to avoid unilateral actions.

We're still having to face this day. As we speak, there has been a request in Mitrovica that the bridge [of Ibër] be opened. The atmosphere, obviously, is not to have such a thing happening”, Lajcak said, as he said both sides should respect each other's red lines.

Municipal advisers in northern Mitrovica have approved the demand for the opening of the main bridge over the Iber River. This was done with the Asambliste proposal from the Vetvendosje Movement ranks Aida Ferati-Doli.

Lajcak's reaction is the first to come from internationals regarding the VV's proposal in the northern municipality of Mitrovica for opening the Ibër Bridge.
