Kurti-Vucciq meeting on 2 May: The First Subject of the Undiscovered, Second Association

European Union spokesman Peter Stano confirmed that at the new high-level meeting of dialogue between the leaders of Kosovo and Serbia, which will be held on May 2nd, in the order of day, the adoption of the Declaration for the Un finders and the first draft of the statute for foundation [...] will be submitted.
Stano confirmed that both sides have already confirmed their participation at the meeting.
“The meeting will focus on implementing the agreement towards normalisation of reports. As the agenda's first point will be the adoption of the Declaration of the Undiscovered. The second point will be to present the first draft of the statute for forming the Association of Serb majority municipalities. After these two topics, it will be seen how much more questions can be discussed”, Stano said.
Asked how the process will go ahead if there is no progress in establishing association during the May 2nd meeting, Stano reiterated that the EU expects the parties to implement the obligations they have made.
“generally we don't speculate about what will happen if something doesn't happen. We expect the parties to be committed to implementing obligations. The formation of the House is a clear obligation. We expect to move forward, and we as facilitators expect obligations that the parties have undertaken to be implemented, Stano said.
The May 2nd meeting will take place at the time when Kosovo has accused Serbia of violating the agreement towards normalising the reports, reached earlier this month.
