At this meeting, the Government has dismissed the board of directors of the public company, Trainkos, Nol Deday, whom it named on August 10th 2022. He had remained the only member of the board, as all directors have resigned, it was said at the Government meeting.
Economy Minister Artane Rizvanolli said that “enni 19.3 of the Law on Public Enterprises urges the Government to dismiss members of the board of directors for whom there is reason to believe they violated the” duties to work honestly, faithfully and in the company's interest.
“Bord has been late to seek responsibility for the ongoing decline in performance and the recorded violations of the National Audition Office for 2016-2021 and has not taken measures to reduce spending in relation to the company's inflows”, she said.
Rizvanolli indicated that “three board members have resigned, announcing the shareholder that it is impossible to fulfill” tasks
Two other members had resigned earlier for personal causes. So the leader is the only member of the body. These circumstances give reasons to believe that the board's leader has violated financial duties and has not met the pre-represented responsibilities with the ethical and corporate government code. Consequently, I propose the dismissal of the board, the chairman as the only remaining member, Mr. Nol Deday”, Rizvanolli said.
