The prime minister has stressed that Kostunica's battle is one of the biggest and most important in our struggle for freedom.
Kurti has written that for two months, from April 9th to June 10, 1999, thousands of KLA soldiers would face fierce fighting with Serb troops, which would result in many deaths and many others injured by both sides.
In the history of the war for Kosovo's liberation, the Battle of Koshara can also be seen as a view of all battles, which can be read in common by the characteristics of both warring sides. Those of the Kosovo Liberation Army who, in the battle for the liberation of Kosovo from Serbia, were also helped by brothers from Albania, as well as with its fair freedom struggle, also won the support of foreign volunteers in this case, but, above all, the NATO alliance, which accelerated Kosovo's full release”, wrote Kurti.
