Kosovo is used abroad as one of the states that has done most for survivors of sexual violence. But there are obstacles. Members are not responsible for the work of the Commission. It's the second or third job. They work slow. The Commission's work is of little concern, as more than 230 requests have been refused that have demanded the status of the victim of sexual violence. I can't believe someone who's not a victim says I am. For sexual violence, I don't think there's a tern. It's not something to be proud of”, she said “Confront” of KTV.
With Krasniqi's findings, Selvi Izeti, psychologist at the Kosovar Centre for the rehabilitation of Torture Survivors, agreed. Izet has said that the Commission sometimes places emphasis on other criteria rather than on telling traumatic events.
The commission is of importance to other conditions, whether there were witnesses or documents that the victims had been to the doctor after the event and not to confess traumatic events. There are cases that are easily passed and accepted, but there are cases that are rejected”, Izet said, adding that they have complained earlier about the criteria set by the Commission.
