Krasniqi: Before trial we have the glory of KLA

After hearing the opening statement of the Prosecutor's Office against Thaci and others, Krasniqi has said that the Special Court was founded on claims of Dick Marty's report, but that such claims are not even mentioned during the prosecutor's opening speech.

“We strongly believe in justice as we said yesterday very loud in Pristina and believing in justice we are convinced that even the outcome of this process should confirm not only their innocence, but also the purity of Kosovo's liberation war. Today, I would like to return it to all of you who have never forgotten how we got here, that more than 12 years have passed by the publication of Dick Marty's report a macabre report that with an extraordinary imagination listed a number of alleged and imagined crimes. Today this judgment is a result and a consequence of that report. But today we didn't even hear about the yellow house, we didn't hear today about the kidnappings of civilian Serbs whose bodies were removed, we didn't hear anything today from Dick Marty's report that founded this court”, Krasniqi said.

MP Krasniqi has said Hashim Thaci, Kadri Veselini, Jakup Krasniqi and Rexhep Selimi are not the permanent names being tried in The Hague, but according to him the glorious era of Kosovo's new history is being judged. / KP
