Krasniqi has written through a post on the social network on Facebook that this party for more than a decade has been open and engaged to reform the electoral system in the country.
“For more than a decade, the Democratic Party of Kosovo has been open and committed to reforming the electoral system in Kosovo, with the aim of structural and content advancement of electoral processes, as a precondition for sustainable democracy, responsible powers and legitimate institutions.
I welcome the successful conclusion of legislative proposals for the realisation of this reform and commend the members of the Ad Hoc Commission for Election Reform, led by PDK Parliamentary Group Chief Abelard Tahiri, for the hard work, political cohesion and commitment beyond the party to advance this vital segment of democracy”, he has written.
Krasniqi has also said that this reform is already in parliamentary procedures and will soon be approved to eventually give the seal the consensus political will they have achieved.
