After voting even in the EP, the remaining steps for this process are: The legal act must be signed by representatives of EU institutions, which will be signed on April 19th.
The decision must be published in the official newspaper, and visa liberalisation goes into effect in the deadline agreed on by January 1st 2024.
Kosovo remains the only country in the Western Balkans and Europe that does not enjoy visa liberalisation even though it has met the conditions a few years ago. A road that started 12 years ago has not yet been completed.
