Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Chollet meets with Lajcak

US State Department senior official Derek Chollet has met with EU emissary Miroslav Lajcak, with whom they have talked about dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia. Chollette said she enjoyed the conversation she had with Lajcak for the US's powerful support for mediated dialogue [...]

Chollet has said he enjoyed the conversation he had with Lajcak for the US's powerful support for the EU-brokered dialogue.

He has said they have shared the same commitment in supporting the Western Balkans on the road towards European integration.

“I enjoyed the conversation with EU Special Representative Miroslav Lajcak for our strong support for the EU-led dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia and the shared commitment to supporting the Western Balkans' path towards EU integration”, Chollet wrote.

This meeting has come shortly after reaching the Ohrid Agreement between Kosovo and Serbia on March 18th, where the realisation and fulfillment of the responsibilities that come out of the agreement is related to the integration process of the two states.
