KKP again urges President Osmani to decree Chief of State

The Kosovo Prosecutorial Council has announced that today during the day it has again addressed the Office of the President of the Republic of Kosovo at the request for the decree of Blerim Isufaj in the position of chief state prosecutor. Under constitutional and legal competencies, the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council announces the public opinion that today it has addressed the Office of President of the Republic of Kosovo at the request for Mr. Blerim Isufaj in the position of State Chief Prosecutor.
This requirement has been made considering that all legal ways that have resulted in the process of recruiting the chief state prosecutor's position has been fair and legitimate.
So, by extolling the commitment of the President's Office in the entire process and its role as guarantor of the functioning of the country's institutions, as well as believing in the shared position to have institutions with full functionality, The KKP has demanded that the process of decreeing the chief state prosecutor be dealt with urgently and ensure the implementation of the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo.
The decree of the chief state prosecutor is essential for the prosecutorial system and generally for rule of law in the country, so the KKP stresses that the state and our institution need the State Chief Prosecutor with constitutional and legal mandates and powers.
