Full response:
Kosovo Prosecutorial Council (KPK) strongly opposes and expresses deep indignation at statements by Kosovo Republic deputies and senior representatives of the Vetevendosje Movement, who have used unacceptable and biased languages concerning the work of chief Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo (PSRK), Mr. Brian Isufaj.
The KKP finds that some senior state officials are trying to systematically influence the affairs of the prosecutorial system and are conveying biased political messages, as they have done this time again, using deignive languages against candidate personality for the chief State Prosecutor, Mr. Blerim Isufaj, which is contrary to all ethical, legal and constitutional norms.
The Prosecutorial Council estimates that such statements, such as those of yesterday, are in complete opposition to the division of powers and constitute flagrant and direct interference in the Judiciary work, respectively, of the State Prosecutor's Institute, because the work and engagement of all, including P. The SRK, stem from the Constitution and the laws of the country, not from political wills, interest groups and individuals assigned.
In this case, the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council emphasises that it stands fully behind the real and very professional work of the Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo and behind the work and engagement of P prosecutors. The SRK and in no case will tolerate denigration and intentional attacks on commitment and dedication to the carriers of the prosecutorial system.
In closing this reaction, the KKP brings to the attention of anyone trying to violate the work of this prosecutor and its chief prosecutor, Mr. Blerim Isufaj, as well as the work of the State Prosecutor's institution, that judicial and prosecutorial power is special, with constitutional, independent and impartial institutions performing their duties in accordance with constitutional and legal mandate, always based on evidence and evidence.
