Isa Mustafa: I hope nothing good for Kosovo from the May 2nd meeting is being held at an inappropriate time!

Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, are expected to meet on 2 May in Brussels. The European Union has confirmed that part of the meeting agenda will be adoption of the Declaration for the Undiscovered, and the first draft of the statute for establishing the [...] Association will be presented.

The European Union has confirmed that part of the meeting agenda will be the adoption of the Declaration for the Unfinders, as well as the first draft of the statute for establishing the Association of Serb-run municipalities.

Former Prime Minister Isa Mustafa in a proposal has said the meeting is being held at an inappropriate time. (Blic]

Mustafa said that after the elections in the country's north, opening the Ibër Bridge, the Daciq-Grvalla Replica in the Security Council, the atmosphere is not convenient for dialogue.

“Following elections in the country's north, the North Mitrovica municipality's decision to open the bridge on Iber and Gervalla-Daciq in the KS. If all of this is not the game of both sides, Kurti and Vuciqi, for domestic consumption, then the atmosphere is not so convenient for dialogue”, Mustafa said.

Mustafa also spoke of the two topics expected to be discussed at the meeting.

He said the question of the undiscovered should be closed as soon as drafting the Association statute outside the eyes and structures of the Government of Kosovo is absurd.

“The theme for the missing by violence deserves to be completed as soon as possible. Meanwhile, drafting the Association statute outside the eyes and structures of the Government of Kosovo, if that is true, is absurd. The more absurd it is that Kosovo's prime minister raised the Ohrid Agreement to heaven, under which he is saying he doesn't know who's writing to Stattu. Therefore, with these behaviours and irresponsibly, I expect nothing good for Kosovo” said former Prime Minister Mustafa.

The country's prime minister, Albin Kurti and Serbian President Vuciq, have confirmed participation in the May 2nd meeting.

The meeting is expected to be held in the evening hours and is the first political high level after the reconciliation in Ohrid on the road to implementing the agreement, which was reached 27 February in Brussels.

The “is expected to approve the declaration on missing persons as the first item of the agenda, and this will be followed by the presentation and discussions about the first framework of the statute for forming the Association of Serb majority municipalities. After these two topics, it will be seen how much other issues of political importance --” can be discussed, European Commission spokesman Peter Stano said.
