Hoxhaj: Kurt to be honest, the elections in the north are the farce to justify forming association

Hoxhaj said that from the Ohrid Agreement, Kosovo will not benefit much.

“ ... except for Kosovo's deployment to become a member state of the Council of Europe and the decision which has been concluded that Kosovo citizens travel visa-free to EU countries, Kosovo will not have any other benefits”, Hoxhaj said in RTK.

I have the impression that with the policy that Prime Minister Kurti is currently following in relation to the north, it has little to do with the north, it has more than how to do well in front of citizens south of the Iber River to Dragash and Prizren. A policy which would reintegration north into Kosovo state institutions would have to look different”, Hoxhaj added.

On the other hand, Hoxhaj also spoke of the April 23rd elections held in Kosovo's four northern municipalities.

According to him, these choices are the farce to reason on the formation of association.

“I don't think these elections will produce any new realities and meet the basic interests of the state of Kosovo. On the contrary, elections are only a farce to justify forming the Association of Serb-run municipalities and Mr. The constitution would have to be honest before citizens and tell them that, we, we, in effect, apply the Brussels Accords because it is in the state's interest to integrate this part of the country into Kosovo institutions, to establish association rather than to do election actions, as it has done with the license without any clarity of what goal it wants to achieve”, Deputy Prime Minister Hoxhaj stressed.
