Today, the hearing has ended against four former KLA leaders -- Hashim Thaci, Kadri Veselini, Jakup Krasniqi and Rexhep Selimi -- who are being charged with war crimes and crimes against humanity.
During the day today, the opening word has been given from the defence of former Prime Minister Jakup Krasniqi, who has rejected SPS evidence.
Krasniqi's lawyer, Venkateswari Alagedra, has said that what the prosecution introduced against her client has nothing to do with it. Among other things, she has said Krasniqi had the former KLA spokeswoman's role and that a spokesman could not be involved in operational military issues.
After the end of the Alagedra lawyer's opening speech, Krasniqi has also given his opening word in which he said he is innocent of all charges charged by the Special Court in The Hague and that the Albanian people in Kosovo have consistently been subjected to systematic violence, murder and no one can say he has committed any of these crimes.
Unlike after Krasniqi's defence hearing, the protection of former KLA leaders has sought to change the order of witness hearing to enable earlier hearings of witness number 3.
But this proposal has been rejected by the Court, which has asked the Prosecutor's Office to show how long it takes to hear all witness testimony.
While the defence has been required to determine within the day how long the interrogation of the first 12 witnesses will take. The same request was made by the judge for the prosecution, but to answer after hearing the first witness.
The next session is expected to be held on April 11th.
