Haziri: Kurti has accepted association with executive competency, risks Kosovo heading towards internal division

Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, will meet in Brussels, where the First Point will be the adoption of the Declaration of the Unfinders.

For the May 2nd meeting and for the draft association status, Front Online has spoken to LDK deputy chairman Lutfi Haziri.

He has said that Prime Minister Kurti has accepted the association with executive competencies, and that overcoming the red lines, according to Haziri, risks Kosovo's internal division.

“Albin Kurti has accepted the Association and unfortunately has gone beyond the 2013 agreement, and this crossing of red lines risks Kosovo going towards an internal division definitely with what Ohrid's agreement on specific projections implies is beyond the 2013 agreement. Kurti has acknowledged that the association with executive competencies and this is only his purchase of time and to sell to the people of Kosovo nebula”, Haziri, for Front Online, has indicated.

Lutfi Haziri: Government has not dealt with a task force for Association

And during yesterday's day, Minister for the Management of Local Power Elbert Krasniqi has announced that he has invited the management team to the meeting for the drafting of the Serbian Major Commission Association station.

But the same has not been answered until it added that only two members from the original composition have remained unchanged.

For this, Haziri has had an answer.

We need to see what the task force that this Government has been working on has failed to collect and see what it has worked on and what the criteria for this team has been engaged, the composition is not important, but the Government has had to change, complete and reorganize because it has to do with new circumstances, with time and possibly this government has in hand. And it has issued this case, trying to camouflage the Ohrid Agreement as a change of the 2013-2015 agreement that half of the government says there is no Association, the other half has, and all of this has been done for Kosovo's internal problems”, has added Deputy Chairman Haziri.

With the issue of the management team for the draft association status, Kosovo Assembly Chairman Glauk Konjufca has been taken over today.

He has said that the management team for drafting the Association statute is in the interest of Kosovo.

Haziri: The composition of the processing group has been known since 2017, this is a government failure.

Commenting on Konjufca's statement, Haziri has confirmed that non-taking with the working group is a failure of the Government and that this Conjufca has had to be told Prime Minister Kurti.

“The chief speaker was supposed to address the government, the prime minister and his deputy this failure because not dealing with the processing group is a failure of the Government, much worse when this cabinet says they don't know the makeup, it's not true the composition that it's been a day since 2017, 2020, and it has had to take action to change the team which has been able to make it”, he said.

The May 2nd meeting will take place at the time when Kosovo has accused Serbia of violating the agreement towards normalising the reports, reached earlier this month.

Serbia has voted against Kosovo membership in the Council of Europe, despite the agreement on normalisation that it has pledged it will not prevent Pristina from membership in international organisations.
