Haradinaj: Kurt is slipping into dictatorship

Alliance for the Future of Kosovo Chairman Ramush Haradinaj has criticised Prime Minister Albin Kurti, as he has tried the prosecutor's decisions in the Kosovo Assembly's folk, in the case of KEK chief chief chief Nagip Krasniqi.

Haradinaj said that if he continues with this kind of action, Kurt may slip into dictatorship.

“The division of powers is the foundation of the functioning of a state's democratic system. When power attacks his country's judicial system, it has a serious problem.

The prime minister makes a serious mistake when he gives himself the right to judge a prosecutor's actions, even if he has doubts about his work. He slips into dictatorship when he says that a person will not be able to become chief prosecutor because it is against his will. The establishment of a chief prosecutor does not become according to the prime minister's wishes. At least not in our justice system!

I'm afraid that the prime minister's discurs distributed today in the Kosovo Parliament folk is not only wrong, but also with grave consequences for the state and for justice”, Haradinaj wrote on Facebook.

Therefore, today I have demanded that the prime minister and his men of power be placed on the side of justice and not against it. He must distance himself from outright attacks on the prosecution and let justice do his job! On the contrary, it will become synonymous with an authoritarian prime minister, and all the consequences will be carried by he himself”, he concluded.
