The former grandson: Krasniqi's family has had no benefit but suffering

Dardan Krasniqi, grandson of Jakup Krasniqi, has said the Krasniqi family did not have any special benefit from his activity except for the suffering, which he described as numerous. Krasniqi has said the family expected with the end of the war to finish Krasniqi's phase in judicial processes, but the same ones that returned had the same protagonist, Krasniqi himself.
“He is my uncle, but Jakup Krasniqi's entire activity shows that his family has not benefited or had any special benefits, except for the suffering it has suffered most. Otherwise, the entire cause of vital purpose has been in the ministry of the country, in the service of families indiscriminately, and of course we as a family have the share of emotion and response. What happened today thrilled us, causing us to return in time. At a time where, although very injured, 30 years ago, the same was faced with harsh trials from Serbia at the time, where he held over 10 years in prison, he was tortured and had many regrets against him and the others. Even after being released from prison, we thought and we all believed that with the end of the war in 98-99, these would be past and we would look forward, but here... the fate of the country that after all these postwar years of war we returned to the fate of the same protagonists, with Jakup Krasniqi”, he declared at RTV Dukagnaj.
In his speech to the court, former Kosovo chief speaker Jakup Krasniqi has denied the Special Prosecutor's charges directed at him.
“Every sincere man, let me tell you that I Jakup Krasniqi, I have never been involved in any murder, no imprisonment, no form of pressure on anyone. My intellectual and human intellect has enabled me to understand which means should be used for the realisation of national liberation in the war against those who compiled genocide against us”, he said.
Krasniqi has said he does not agree at all with the charges the prosecution has made against him. For the torture killings, he has indicated that the state of Serbia committed it to the people of Kosovo and personally to them.
