According to the Government, the threatening campaign by official Belgrade executed through intimidation, pressure and blackmail from criminal instruments on the ground affected citizens' low appearances in these elections.
“in the northern Mitrovica municipality, Zvecan's Zubin Potok and Leposaviqi's, local elections were held yesterday, whose prosperity was quiet, peaceful and without incident. The Central Election Commission and the Kosovo Police were in charge of organising and providing adequate conditions for exercising the right to vote”.
