Chief diplomat Donika Gervala was today part of the UN Security Council hearing, where she talked about Kosovo. The main confrontation, Gervala had with Serbia's Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic, who she told him is a “Little Slobodan”
Gervala turned to Dacic with regret, after saying it is difficult for him to admit that they lost Kosovo in 99, so she also uses a derogatory rhetoric to Kosovo.
“You just showed today why people in Serbia, in the 1990s, were called “Small slaba” So, a little Slobodan, a little Milosevic, the cause of your Moses. I understand you're angry, and I've known this language since I've been in European politics for two or three years. But you have difficulty explaining to your citizens that you have lost Kosovo in 99, so keep such rhetoric. I don't think the people of Serbia deserve anything like that. The truth hurts, we know”, Gervala said.
I'm sorry about you because you're our neighbor and we have to deal with you”
She also spoke of her late father, journalist and activist in the 1990s, who was killed by Yugoslav forces and mentioned by Serbia's own MPJ at this UN meeting.
“An independent Kosovo for you is so difficult to accept that in advance you will accept an assassination against a journalist who looks for the truth peacefully with the texts, with his writings. This shows that you are old Serbia, Serbia and Milosevic, and not that Serbia needs the region and Europe. With you, Serbia knows there is no way towards the EU, and a better future for your citizens”.
