Germany's embassy does not publicly comment on Serbia's vote against Kosovo in KiE

The Council of Europe's ministerial committee at an extraordinary meeting held on Monday, with more than 2/3 of the vote made the decision to submit to the KiE Parliamentary Assembly the application for Kosovo membership. As usual, Serbia has voted against Kosovo membership this time again in this organisation. But the unusual thing is that there is now an agreement that Serbia will not prevent Kosovo from integrating into international organisations.
Kosovo and Serbia have agreed to implement the proposal initiated by Germany and France for normalisation of relations between the two countries that split up in 1999.
Serbia will not challenge Kosovo's membership in any international organisation”, writes on Article 4 of the Franco-German proposal, which is made up of 11 points.
Clankosova.tv has contacted the German Embassy in Kosovo to ask whether Serbia has violated the Brussels/Ohri agreement with its controversial vote Monday. But this embassy has said it does not comment publicly on voting that is conducted in a non-public manner.
“We do not publicly comment on the positions of voting of the Council of Europe member states in non-public sessions”, said the embassy's response.
We remember that President Vjosa Osmani, Serbia's move, has described the Ohrid Agreement as a violation.
“in less than 24 hours, Serbia has made two violations of the Brussels/Ohri Agreement: 1. Foreign interference in Kosovo elections (contradicted to Article 2). 2. Lobbying and voting against Kosovo's application for membership in the KiE (against Article 4)”, Osmani wrote on her Twitter account.
Following agreements reached on February 27th in Brussels and March 18th in Ohrid, there have been voices from the European Union and the United States that the parties will be sanctioned if they violate the agreement.
EU spokesman Peter Stano has said that Brussels institutions “are aware” that Serbia voted against Kosovo's application for membership in the Council of Europe. However, he has not responded to the question of whether the EU considers this act a violation of the agreement towards normalising the reports.
