German Ambassador to Kosovo Jorn Rohde has reacted to the recent incident in the country's north, where a Serb citizen in Zvecan was wounded.
Ambassador Rohde has criticised the director of the so-called Office of Kosovo, Petar Petkov, who has asked Rohde to react, adding that “for other cases he reacts in seconds”.
In this regard there have been reactions from the American Embassy in Ksovo, but also from the European Union office.
Meanwhile, German Ambassador Rohde has also reacted today.
Through a Facebook post, he said he asked Kosovo Police for extensive investigation.
He has also agreed with the European Union's response to Kosovo, where the incident was condemned, saying that Kosovo Police officials were involved.
And for this recent case in the north, four police officials have been suspended.
“I completely agree. Another disturbing security incident. It is good to see that Kosovo police have reacted by widely investigating the case. Possible police misconduct should be considered as any other. I wish the victim a quick recovery “, German ambassador wrote.
