Traffic police data shows there is a decline of about 15 per cent of deaths compared to last year.
Of the total number of accidents 4248 in the first three months of this year, 1598 have ended up with injured persons, while 2632 with material damage.
During the same period last year, 428 accidents had occurred, including 1582 people injured and 2924 with material damage.
While only over the last 24 hours, 48 traffic accidents have occurred throughout the country, 18 of which have ended with injured persons and 30 others with material damage.
