“The EU in Kosovo condemns the security incident, where a Kosovo Serb has been shot and wounded last night near the Kosovo Police border checkpoint at the Bistrica Bridge in the Zvecan municipality”, reportedly in the response released, the Express reported.
Kosovo police have announced the involvement of four police officials in the wounding of Serbian citizen Milan Jovanovic, the night before near the Bistrica Bridge in Leposavic.
“As a result of unbroken investigations and commitments of police units at the scene, and as a result of examining provided evidence, evidence has been obtained that indicates suspicions of possible involvement of a police officer in shooting at”, the report explains.
The official in question is said to have been suspended, along with three others suspected of involvement in the case.
“Based on the information and provided evidence have been made suspension measures against the police official, since the same one had not reported on the case and his involvement in the case, from where the KP had issued reports that it had not been involved in exchange or shooting. Suction measures have also been taken against three other possible officials involved in the case of”, the announcement said.
