Escobar: Attacks on Serbs in the north do not come from Albanians, but from Serbs

Escobar said these threats do not come from Albanians, so he also thinks Serbs should stop attacking members of the community who belong to him.

The search for vehicles, real estate and threats to people who want to integrate do not come from ethnic Albanians, but from Serbs, so I think threats to the Serb community in Kosovo should be stopped from all sides”, Escobar told the Tanjug media.

He said the US are demanding that Serbs return to police departments, because there cannot be a community that does not have municipal services and has no police force.

We have demanded that Serbs return to institutions so that there is no reason for ethnic Albanians to be present there. That's a really complex question. A compromise will be needed on both sides to find a solution”.

The same one added that they expect both sides in dialogue, Kosovo and Serbia to provide a timeframe for full implementation of the Ohrid Agreement and initial proposals for forming the Association of Serb majority municipalities.

“All sides must come prepared”, Escobar said.
