Enhancing association in the hands of Vuciqi MP Kurti sees draft 2 May

The management team, thought to write a draft State of the Serb-run Associations, will have an important role for the May 2nd meeting, expected to be held between Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Serbian President Aleksander Vuciq.

This team, almost anonymous, will present the first draft official status at its next meeting in Brussels, according to an announcement it made Sunday evening by the European Union's Special Emisari for Kosovo Dialogue Serbia, Miroslav Lajcak.

The “Agent [of the meeting] will include the official adoption of the Declaration for the Undiscovered, the presentation of the first draft-Stututor Association of Serb majority municipalities in Kosovo by the Management Team and current issues. The draft of the Association statute, which will then be subject to Kosovo-Serbia negotiations, also spoke to US Ambassador to Belgrade Christopher Hill, who expects this document to be handed over to two leaders and mediators.

Chief Parliamentary officer Glauk Konjufca, has said last week that if the Managing Team offers a draft state that fits Serbia, then it should be downloaded. Konjufca has little hope that the team will do good work, judging by its composition.

The way this work is handled by the past is that there is a management team that has had to offer a version of the Association, one already has and it has not worked and has not been accepted, will now offer the other. I don't rule out that even this one won't work by seeing the composition of this management team, which is made up of even the deputies of Serbia. This is unacceptable for Kosovo. If this management offers a draft that is according to Serbia's interests, I think the best way for Kosovo is to download this management”, Conjufca said.

Prime Minister Kurti himself has not spoken for the Management Team in recent weeks. When he mentioned it for the last time in an interview after the Ohrid Agreement, the prime minister has said he did not know exactly who is part of the team. However, he said the Management Team made up two northern Serbs, two south Serbs, O chief The SBE and the Minister of Management of Local Power.

So, these six people are, if I do, two Serbs from the north, two Serbs from the south, chief of O. SBE and Local Power Management Minister. Under the 2015 agreement [for the establishment of Association], this management team would have to draft the Association statute. Now, I don't know exactly who's in its makeup, but, once again, I'm pointing out, it's obvious that the status of that Manager is well known and that we as Government are going to consider the next few days”, Kurti said.

But, Mission O The SEU in a response to Gazeta Express has stated that no representative of this mission is part of the team and that they have participated in any discussion of the drafting of a Serbian Major Community Association station. They have also said they have had an invitation to discuss drafting any statute for Association after reaching the Kosovo-Serbia agreement in Ohrid.

On May 2nd, it is expected to see what will happen with the draft drafted by the Managing Team always if the meeting does not fail. The Serbian president has indicated today that he may not even go to the meeting.
