After victory in two northern Kosovo municipalities, The PDK has moved to first place in the number of municipalities it has in government.
With victory in Zubin Potok and Zvecan PDK currently rules in ten Kosovo municipalities.
PDK-run municipalities are: Prizren, Ferizaj, Mitrovica, Vushtrri, Drenas, Skenderaj, Kacanik, Han of Elez, Zubin Potok and Zvecan.
The LDK has already passed second place with the number of municipalities managing and they are: Pristina, Peja, Fushe Kosovo, Lipjan, Istog, Year, Dragash, Junik and Obilic (after chairman Xhafer Gashi's passage to the party).
The LVV, with the winning of two municipalities in the north, passes the AAK and takes third place in the number of municipalities won in local elections.
Already LVV runs six municipalities, and they are: Gjilan, Podujevo, Kamenica, Shtime, North Mitrovica and Leposaviq.
The AAK has managed to maintain governance in five municipalities in the recent local elections: Gjakova, Suhareka, Kline, Rahovec and Decani.
