Today election silence, vote tomorrow in four municipalities north of the country

Besides being voted for the mayors of Kosovo's four northern municipalities, it will also be voted for two municipal municipalities -- the one of Zvecan and Leposaviqi.
The Central Election Commission ( KQZ) has completed all necessary preparations for organising the elections, while it has announced that the total number of polling stations in these four municipalities is 19 with a total of 34 deployments, of them 6 are regular polling stations with a total of 6 polling stations, while 13 other polling stations are alternative with a total of 28 seats.
The Central Election Commission has accredited about 360 observers for the extraordinary elections to be held Sunday in northern Kosovo.
The number of observers representing political subjects is 75, on behalf of non-governmental organisations the number is 109, while two observers represent an embassy.
A number of local and international media, with more than 170 representatives, have also been accredited for this election process.
Also, Kosovo Police announced that based on its operational planning and co-ordination with representatives of competent institutions, including the Central Election Commission (KQZ), they have undertaken all actions and measures under the mandate and legal authorisations for co-ordinating activities, with the goal of providing security and management of the election process in northern Kosovo municipalities.
The media report shows that the purpose of these planning and co-ordination is implementation of the operational police plan.

Otherwise, days ago the embassies of France, Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom and the United States of America have expressed regret over the Serbian List's decision not to participate in the 23 April elections, which will be held in four municipalities in northern Kosovo.
QU The INT wants elections in the north to be held peacefully and fairly.
In the race for mayor of these municipalities are 11 candidates from four political subjects, of whom only two are of the Serb community, while the Serbian List does not participate.
