Milo Djukanovic has congratulated his opponent in Montenegro's presidential election, Jakov Milatovic, who managed to win the election.
After the overwhelming part of the vote has been counted, Djukanovic praised his successor.
Montenegro's “chose. I respect that choice. I congratulate Jakov Milatovic on the confidence he received in the election”, Djukanovic said in his speech.
He thanked all citizens who trusted him.
For me, each vote is as valid as a mountain, because maintaining trust after 30 years in power is not so easy”, Djukanovic stressed.
He stressed that his party has shown absolute responsibility towards Montenegro.
Milo Djukanovic has been in power for 30 years, where he was twice president and seven times prime minister.
