Divorce increases in Albania, new marriages don't last more than two years

Reference to the figures the highest demand for separation has made women 344, while 189 requests have come from men for marriage solutions.

The main factors remain economic conditions, violence and unemployment, but are not the only ones, Euronews Albania writes.

With regard to divorces, the number has been increased by the sake of truth, most divorces are due to economic conditions. Albanian families more than any other time now feel that financial burden, economic gravity. All of this has led since families get children and start and spending grows, it has led to debate losing mutual respect in families and coming to divorce”, attorney Demir Cifty told Euronews Albania.

There are other factors associated with persons abroad related to exhibits that may have been received in different EU countries where they live and work hard to bond marriages to change their surnames and then seek solutions to their marriage”.

Divorce has also increased significantly in younger ones, marriages that do not last more than two years.
