The Islamic Community Council in Lipjan claims it has fallen prey to fraud by some individuals who online requested bank cards, arguing that they would help their mosques. But instead, they turned out to have made online purchases in different countries. And the cases are being investigated by police, in co-operation with Montenegro's bodies.
Enis Jasanica, imam in the mosque of the village of Ribar i Vogel, shows that fraud occurred after the mosque council demanded, through a letter, citizens' support to collect money for the mosque's electricity payment, with regard to a donation of 1,000 and 500 euros was announced to a person from Belgium, with whom messages were first exchanged and then telephone conversations were completed.
He said that besides him, messages like that were sent to other hojaries.
This person sent messages to other combs and also entered the glass page, and then he texted me. So has a lot of other mosques that have been texted and tried to deceive other people, and some of them have already said, Yashanica.
“Markure has been this: Two thousand euros we have earmarked for your mosque as a donation and please send me the account. So, over the Internet, two people have already already fallen prey to this event. We have an imam, who's called on to pay off the power in the mosque and has taken advantage of the occasion and has drawn money from his account, and usually through the Internet, these are working. Two cases are in Lipjan that have taken money through account”, Baftiu said.
In the police confirmed two cases and said investigations are under way in co-operation with rule-of-laws in Montenegro, this state in which the suspect from Belgium has posted photos on social networks near a malarian license car and in which online purchase of 280 euros is believed to have been conducted.
